Makeup question, what colours should i use for pale skin and blonde hair?
I am also light complected with blonde hair, and I always wear makeup. =) So here is my advice:

As far as foundation goes- if you don't have really good skin, you DEF. need a foundation. It makes SUCH a big difference. If you have clear skin, you may want to use a foundation or powder just to even out your skin tone. If you get an occasional blemish, use a concealer just on that spot.

I would suggest the Mary Kay Mineral Powder Foundation. I use it, and it works really well, regardless of whether or not you have really nice skin. It's a little expensive, so if you don't want to pay that much, I would suggest Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse foundation. It also works RLY well.(and walmart has the best price for it if you plan to buy it =)

You may also want to use a bronzer. Get one that is a pressed powder with a couple different color shades and a little shimmer in it. When you apply, don't use so much that you look orangey or cakey. When bronzer is done right, it will give you a touch of shimmer and make you look glowy and not so pastey. =) Apply it across your nose and the tops of your cheekbones, and a little on your temples, chin, and forehead. Make sure to blend well.

As for blush, use light rosey or tannish pinks. Once again, make sure you blend to avoid looking like you have pink streaks on your cheeks.lol.

How much eye makeup? It's up to you, depending on how much time you want to spend doing it and what kind of look you're going for.

I would DEFINATELY reccommend you wear mascara. Get one that is brown or blackish brown for everyday, then maybe a black or very black one for special occasions (when you want more dramatic eyes). Apply mascara on the upper and lower eyelashes- it will make your eyes look so much bigger.

As for eyeliner, it will really open up your eyes, but it will not look as natural as just wearing mascara. Black eyeliner works for every eye color, but you may decide it washes you out or gives you ';racoon eyes';, so if you try it and don't like it, try brown, gray, dark green, or gray/plumish purple eyeliners. Apply eyeliner on your lower lash line, not your waterline. It will stay longer and make your eyes look bigger.

Eyeshadow looks nice and can enhance your eyecolor if done right. I would suggest going on the website of a makeup supplier such as covergirl, maybelline, or almay and registering for their programs which will advise you as to which colors will best suit you. However, one trick to make your eyes really show up is to use a shimmery bright white shadow over your whole lid an around the corner of your eye closest to your nose. Also, a light shimmery tan color is good for everyday.

French manicures, light shimmery colors and most shades of pink and red will look nice on fingernails. Finish with a top coat to seal and enhance shine, or wear a clear nail polish alone just to help strengthen nails and give them extra shine.

Experiment with different kinds, amounts, colors, and brands of makeup and figure out what your favorites are. You can wear more and darker or brighter makeup when you want to look dramatic or make a statement. If you need help applying something, covergirl and maybelline as well as many other websites have tips and videos on applying various products. If your only want wear a little makeup, just mascara, foundation, and blush or bronzer will make a big difference.

I hope my advice Helped!

i have the exactly the same features. I normally use powder because i always get caught with foundation, but i think foundation is better but get one a little bit darker than your skin because its always good to have a little tan. The blusher I use is quite red but it doesn't really show up on a tanned foundation ( but don't put red blusher on over your skin when you haven't got foundation on). With eye make-up if your going out i do black eyeliner and black mascara because it looks great. But for places where make-up is prohibited no eyeliner but a little brown mascara ( even black if you only apply it slightly ). I go for green eyeshadow as it looks really nice. Oh and blue for nail varnish.
Hey there!

I have blonde hair and pale skin too. I just had to try a few things untilI got the look that I liked. If you're using blush, I would go with a very light pink and make sure that it isn't too dark bacause with fair skin it can look very unnatural. I prefer powder over foundation because with foundation, you have to cover evenly which can be difficult. For my eye make up, I like to use blue eyeliner and a little bit of white eye shadow. It might sound weird but just give it a try. I like to go crazy with my nails. I always come up with a new idea. One time I did back and white diagonal stripes. But that takes alot of work, so just get a few basic colors and you can match with your outfits. I hope I helped! Good luck!
There's probably tons of different colors that would look good on you, try uploading your photo onto the virtual makevoer at this site, it lets you play with makeup and hairstyles and colors, it's been really useful to me, it's easy to use too!
