I do peoples makeup for theatre and stuff like that...people with pipmples, acne or red skin?

I do makeup, not only for theatre but for people going out to fancy outings, etc....I have a problem applying natural looking makeup to girls with acne and pimples...ive seen before and after pictures of makeup artists who can do girls makeup with it looking totally awesome...like you can hardly tell they have a skin problem...but seriosuly, what can i do, what are the best products, and how can i avoid discoloring?I do peoples makeup for theatre and stuff like that...people with pipmples, acne or red skin?
You should use a green concealer I know that sounds crazy but that hides the red and dark blemishes on skin. Always apply your concealer before you put on foundation. Este Lauder has got some really good products so does M.A.C remember you get what you pay for! You should also visit the Sephora website they have several products that might interest you! Good Luck!I do peoples makeup for theatre and stuff like that...people with pipmples, acne or red skin?
MAC has the best products, they are flawless, i'd recomend their powders most of all. Also, you need good tools, brushes, mascara wands, and liner pencils.
Lols, I love doing makeup to my friends.

Well, Danielle, she had severe acne and for her prom, she wanted me to her makeup. Firstly, I used non-powdered parchment paper to absorb and disgard any obvious oil, and used an Dove face wash (it's the one that gets rid of seven signs of aging) it takes off little pimples and blackheads right off the bat. Then I used a very simple bronze power over her face to go with her dress (yellow), light blush to highten her cheekbones (covergirl), a bit of concealer on the pimples that didn't wash off BEFORE everything else (just a stick of Mary-Kay concealer), and clear lipgloss. Then I drew all the attention to the eyes, a little bit of black eyeliner (NYC is cheap and it's easy) and did a flick in the corners, and did bright yellow and gold on her eyelids (covergirl and Rave at the mall had some). She looked great, and it was a big hit, if I do say so myself.
Well I am not a make up artist but I do have acne....I use Revlon color stay make up. I also have very oily skin witch is very common with people with acne and I have to be sure to get the combination-oily skin kind. It covers up the problem area pretty well. I also use a concelor from Mary-Kay. That is totally up to you though on the concelor. Try that and see what you think. You may have already tried it though. Hey let me know how it turns out for you!
Hi Odette

I do make up artistry too and the products that I use are by Aularale Cosmetics (aularale.com/7002). They have an awesome line of cosmetics and skin care. You might want to check out the website.

  • What's the best makeup for acne skin?

anything with out oil, dermablend is good, but so are many others , read the ingredients ..What's the best makeup for acne skin?
Power with no oil is good, liquid makeup is really bad for ur skin, it really clogs pores, neutrogena is the best make-up for ur skin, it is dermotoglisget recommened so, it works! Report Abuse
What's the best makeup for acne skin?
Revlon colour stay is good.It gives good coverage and is oil free.Or use a tinted moisturizer like Clarins which gives a light coverage and is oil free.
    foundation to cover all pimples
best way is not to wearing make up at all,but if u have to then go for loose powder.Go for heavy make up on the EYES,wear MAC's lip gloss, keep ur hair open, try to use less make up on the skin.Simple is the best 4 ur acne skin %26amp; its also stylish
Mary Kay. It does not clog pores! There are also wonderful products to help clear acne skin. I started using it, and it has made mine clear up better tham Proactive or a doctor's prescription! Find a consultant near you by going to marykay.com, or contact me and I can help!
LUXIVA from merryl norman stores. oil free, doesn't clog my pores and stays all day...need make-up remover to get it off at night. I love it. mary kay makes me break out worse and nothing else lasts all day.
    Ella bache or nutrimetics.
DO NOT USE ANYTHING MEDICATED. It dries out your skin like you wouldn't believe, and can actually make acne worse. It doesn't really matter as long as you clean your face before and after.
Actually I asked someone that and they said that it's ok to wear any make-up because they improve it over time.Idk if that's true though..But try using clean and clear cover up -it works really well. And just wash it off when you don't need it on anymore.
Nothing with oil and don't use powder because it get greasy looking pretty fast. I have the same problem. I don't wash my face with soap. I use lavender glycerin soap at night and Noxzema in the morning. Make sure to always use a moisturizer. You skin actually gets worst if you don't. I love Aveeno for acne skin. I use True blend makeup. It covers well and match is great. It also washes off really easily. Make sure to use a sponge, not your fingers. Then you can use the sponge to dab and help cover blemishes. If it gets dark or grey looking, throw it out and get a new one. Don't pick! If you have a bad, red, swollen bump, dab some honey on it and cover with a band aid. Sounds weird but will sometimes work over night. Not sure why.

    Good Luck.
    HMM DON NO TOO HAHA
    proactive all the way man

Pale skin in need some makeup advice?

I have darkish brown hair (which i dye a plum colour), blue/green eyes, very pale skin with rosy, chubby cheeks. Big eyes, small lips and fairly long eyelashes. Oily T zone

I really want some advice on what types of colours, methods and good brands to use. I dont want to spend loads though. Help appreciated.

oh yeh, im 16 and a bit of an eccentric, which is kinda shown in my makeup lolPale skin in need some makeup advice?
OMD your description of yourself is exactly like me, except i have full lips and hazel/green eyes lol.

anyhow, i find boujoir (SP?) or 17 foundations work best. eyeshadows - i love wearing bright leaf green colours or like metalic-y browns.

    sometimes wear black eyeliner.

17 blush is the best for pale skin.

macsara has to be either miss sporty xxLONG or 17 (yes again).

    eyelash curlers are a must!

and as always a pinky lipgloss so my lips look pretty.

    Makeup for Freckley Skin?

I've got super fair skin with freckles, and I cannot for the life of me find a foundation color that matches. Any suggestions? Most of what I try ends up making my face look splotchy.Makeup for Freckley Skin?
i have the same problem try covergirl trublend whipped foundation in ivory it works pretty goodMakeup for Freckley Skin?
you sound stupid! and whats with that dumb rainbow behind your head!??!? GAW!
Virtual Makeover. It's free, super easy and fun. You can play with colors and find a look you will love. Then it shows you how to apply your new look. Just click http://marykay.com/mgunther2
I've fair skin freckles and red hair. The best I've found are Trucco skin tones foundation in tone 1

Make up forever mat velvet in 20

Chanel double perfection compact in vanilla

The Trucco is sheer enough that your freckles will show through. It adds a luminous glow to your skin. The other two are heavier and give more coverage.
first of all, be proudof your freckles. but if you are so uncomfortable with your freckles, try sheer cover, ny sisters use it and trust me, i wouldnt normally say- but they look good
Try a tinted moisturizer, it will give you a bit of color while letting your freckles show (and you should let them show!). Plus, many have sunscreen, so that's good.
try sephora, they have almost evry shade imaginable! an employee will help you find your shade.

aslo you want to show off ur freckles so try a tinted moisturizer.
I have tan skin with freckles.

The best thing I have found is Bare Minerals powder foundation. Its really good and matches skintone the best.

Pick the fair coloring... thought its a bit expensive, but the whole kit will last a really long time.

It evens my skin tone, and the freckles.
Try pretty much any foundation by covergirl. (powdered) It doesn't completely cover it up, but it blends what you have into your normal skin tone, and looks pretty good!! If you have fair skin, like me, (this is what I do) try the covergirl powdered ';freshlook'; foundation in Translucent light. This is a very light shade, and blends very well with fair skin.

    Hope this helps!!
i mean you could totally try to cover your freckles up with make up but if you dont want any more than you already have then dont go out in the sun to much...they come out in the light...sun/tanning
Try Benefit's Some Kind of Gorgeous. It's reminds me of a balm almost, but it is a foundation, it's sheer and it's meant to match all skin colors-it comes in only one shade. It's so weird, but I use it/love it, I have fair skin and it blends wonderfully(they girl at the counter was super tan, she put it on and it blended perfectly with her skin too!). It never looks splotchy and it would balance well between the freckles and fairness of your skin. But don't feel like you have to hide those freckles, they are beautiful! Try this stuff, it's magic and it comes in a cute container!

    Makeup for combonation skin?

i really do like wearing a little makeup but i have the same problem millions of women do with the oily skin in the T-zone area but dry in the rest. i've tried drugstore brands, clinique, nutregena but they all get this oily sheen after a few hours.

so just wondering what people do to keep their makeup looking fresh for at least 8 hours a day if not all day.Makeup for combonation skin?
Clarins products for combination/oily/dry skins fixed my oily skin issues permanently and I didn't have to use them again for like more than ten years!!! SO, first I'd recommend that and for makeup - mineral veil as suggested, and stick to powdersMakeup for combonation skin?
I swear by L'oreal Ideal Balance!! and the ideal balance pressed powder on afterwards sets it beautifully
I have the same problem! I just bought yet another foundation but love it this time (Mac or Clinique did not help me)... Trublend a line from Cover Girl (I bought the liq foundation and compact powder a week ago). I thought it was a mineral makeup but it wasn't (I heard that was good for combo skin)... but I LOVE it now. Looks natural (a must for me), and no shiny forehead anymore and it stays put too. However, everyones skin is different so maybe get a facial once and they will give you some ideas on what you can do.
    Go to http://www.beeroyalproducts.com

Get the bee luscious ultimatte t-zone mattifier it is unbelievable how it works and the liquid minerals foundation lasts all day and so light its like not having anything on.
    ....huh
They're expensive but work like a charm! Clinique or Physician's Formula. you can tell the difference
I would suggest you use 2 foundation products. Any brand is fine, although I love MAC (they pick your colour for you).

Use a liquid foundation all over, and then follow with a powder in exactly the same colour, over your t-zone. This should not only set your makeup, but ensure that the oily parts dont look oily.
My skin sounds like yours and I use bare minerals. the mineral veil really does help with shine, but my favorite thing is the blue oil blotting sheets. Don't rub, blot. They will soak up all shine and leave your makeup right where it is. Dollar general actually has a generic brand works just as great as the clearasil brand. Give it a shot, I can't live without them!!
Try puritycosmetics.co.uk. It is really good!
i have combo and i use vincent longo healthy complexion, you can get it at sephora, oh and try mac's blotting sheets, it helps get rid of some of the oil throughout the day

I have blue eyes pale skin and blonde hair, i need some makeup suggestions?

i need some color options and how to apply them such as eyeshadow, i dont know how to do it right....also add pics soo i can follow them

thnx%26lt;33I have blue eyes pale skin and blonde hair, i need some makeup suggestions?
Browns, golds, beiges, burgundy, and grey shadows make blue eyes pop. Dark brown or black liner will do. Here are some pictures of blue-eyed celebs to give you some makeup inspiration!

OMG we have the same problem.

I have finally found the things that work.

I use physicians formula translucent light loose powder, almay eye shadow trio (it says to bring out the blue eyes), number 04 MAC lipstick (its bubble gum pink, it looks natural), and neutrogena healthy volume mascara in brown black (pale blonds look whorey wearing pure black macara). I don't use eyeliner because I think it looks weird on light skinned people like me. Also loreal makes a really good foundation in a really light color that blends into your skin.
Most blondes look good in black, but occasionally dark slate grey or ink blue is a softer and more flattering choice
umm idk but culd u answer mine??

    Flawless skin with makeup?

school is starting soon and i want my skin to be flawless. my skin is not at all though..i have a lot of red marks left behind from acne. i've tried a lot of different foundations and concealers to try and cover them up but either the product doesnt cover up completely or looks really cakey and gross. what is a good foundation or concealer that i can get before school that will make my skin flawless and cover up the red marks COMPLETLY...i dont want to see them anymore!Flawless skin with makeup?
    The best concealer i used 2 cover-up is NEUTROGENA-SKIN- CLEARING-OIL FREE

Yu can buy it at Wal-mart for lykee 'bout $10 i forgot buhh its not any higher than that. It hepls!!!!!!! %26amp; yu shuld use Pressed powder by REVLON it gives tone 2 yur face its not expensive nd with concealer it'll look greaat (:Flawless skin with makeup?
i use neutrogena coverup, about 14$. works well!
I have the exact same problem as you and i know how much it sucks

:( I use maybelliene dream matte mouse and mix it with a dab of liquid foundation so it doesnt look as thick and cakey. It actualy looks very natural and everyone that I've told I wear makeup didn't believe me. Its cheap too only about $9 and any cheap liquid makeup works since you're just using it for texture. I use a long lasting one so it all stays put a lot longer. Good luck! And the marks will fade I promise. I use glycolic acid from my dermatologist and it works wonders so I would look into it
MAC concealers and foundation work best :)
You don't foundations and concealers to mask up your face!! Only to have it break out in nasty, big zits everywhere and have your face look all oily!! I just bought Bare Escentuals this weekend, buy the starter kit for the face ... just like powder is in it, and brushes! It is totally worth the money and your face looks FLAWLESS!!!!!!!!
You should google Dinair Airbrush Makeup..ive been using it for the past 2 years and i LOVE it...its honestly the best makeup ive ever used...it makes my skin look flawless case it covers up all my imperfections...its also all water based so its not bad for ur skin...anywho...hope i helped...=)
a reallyyyyyy good concealer would be mineral power natural perfecting concealer by maybelline its AMAZEING it doesnt make you look cakey at all and for foundation i use studio fix fluid by MAC its a little expensive but its well worth it and it gives full coverage so it makes your skin look absolutley flawless and it lasts a long time

  • What should I do with makeup? Pale skin, blue eyes, freckles, blonde hair.?

I have been experiementing with makeup for years. One thing that is aways a must for me is mascara. I have learned to master it. But eyeliner is the problem, it seems.

I had used regular eyeliner on my waterline for years, but it always smudged down my face throughout the day. I tend to use black eyeshadow on my lashlines now, which doesn't smudge, but tends to look too dark.

I have also used liquid eyeliner on just my top lashline, but my hands are much too shakey to make that presentable.

Is there a product I should use? and a certain way to use it?

Any help is appreciated =)What should I do with makeup? Pale skin, blue eyes, freckles, blonde hair.?
As a pale blonde with blue eyes myself, I have learned that sometimes if I try basic black eyeliner, I look a little hookerish by the end of the day.

I would suggest that instead of doing actual liner, you get a very dark brown color of eyeshadow and a nice, fairly thin brush (you can find Sonia Kashuk ones at Target that work well) and put the brown on like liner.* This is a much softer look that still highlights your eyes and does not migrate nearly as much as actual eyeliner.

*By put it on like liner, I mean on your top lid and bottom lid, not in the rim. It is already icky with a pencil, so I would imagine it would hurt with a brush!

Hope this helps! What should I do with makeup? Pale skin, blue eyes, freckles, blonde hair.?
I like using dry mineral powder eyeshadow as liner. I have an angled eyeliner brush. I dip it in a dot of visine (makes it last longer than water) then dip in a little tiny bit of mineral eyeshadow and line. Goes on much easier than any liquid eyeliner ever would. I can do it really fast and it looks perfect. Used to take me forever with regular liquid eyeliner, then I'd mess up and have to wipe off the excess with a qtip and vaseline.aarrhhhggghgh

Anyways...here's a good color to use. I use it all the time:

    http://laminerals.com/inc/sdetail/509
There isn't a certain product you should use. With blue eyes, brown and blue eye shadows and eyeliners would make your eyes pop. And it would look gorgeous against your blonde hair and pale skin. You could use a dark brown mascara for the daytime and go a bit more dramatic with black mascara for night.

I really need something which gives me super smooth and flawless skin.either makeup or cream*help*?

hi, ok so the only way to get super flawless skin is to drink 8 to 10 glasses of water a day, have a good diet. Have a good skin regime. Cleanse, tone and moisturise. You should exfoliate your skin once or twice a week , this will help to keep it smooth. Then smother yourself in baby oil, itll keep your skin so soft.

If you have skin problems like spots and you want flawless make up, you should try dermablend or dermacolour. It covers everything from dark circles to scars. Its very good, I use it to cover my dark cirles from time to time.

OK so good luck!I really need something which gives me super smooth and flawless skin.either makeup or cream*help*?
virgin coconut oil is great for skin and hair. i apply it before shower. my skin feels so damn smooth.I really need something which gives me super smooth and flawless skin.either makeup or cream*help*?
it depends on ur skin type try out alot of stuff have fun make it a girls day and get together w/ friends and try a bunch out but be careful
Mary Kay is amazing! Especially the new microdermabrasion set. Visit my website for some info or email with any questions. http://www.marykay.com/kmeyer76

    Proactive,skin and makeup questions?

okay, so does proactive really work?

%26amp; what is a good facewash or something that minimizes your pores and gets rid of blackheads?

also where could you get eyeshadow that comes with like 5 colors in one pack?

thanks in advance(:Proactive, skin and makeup questions?
Proactive does work but I find after a while you get immuned and it stops working.

The best thing you can do for your pores and blackheads is get a facial. Makes a big difference. Clinique has some good products for your skin as well. Make sure you exfoliate atleast once a week. Masking helps too. The truth is you can never really fix your pores but you can help them. Oh and about the eyeshadow- Go to sephora. They have everything.Proactive, skin and makeup questions?
My friend gave me some and it works. IT really drys out your skin though and if you dont have a lot of pimples then dont use it b/c it will suck all the mositure out of your skin. I had to stop using it because I would have 1or 2 breakout and thats not enough to use proactive unless you want Arizona desert as your skin.LOL. I recommend Mario Badescu, if you are like me, however if you have bad break outs then go with proactive
Yes it sure does! I had great skin as a teen, but I am 30 now and have adult acne! I tried everything over the counter and found no releif for my acne! Finally one day I decided to go ahead and try proactiv!

I was shocked! I noticed a difference in like a couple of days even. I use the 3 step system twice a day! I also use the make-up they have available! It acutually heals and prevents breakouts while you are wearing it! So the make-up is acutually good for your skin!

If I wear any other kind of make-up my face is sure to break out! So yes I woud definitley try it!

Good makeup primer for oily skin?

I have really oily skin and seems like every face primer I use just makes it worse. Can anyone suggest something that feels light and natural and doesn't make my skin break out?

Also, looking for a good eye primer too. Currently use MAC Paint Pot but Im not that fond of it.

Thanks Ladies!!Good makeup primer for oily skin?
The current winner of the Allure Best of Beauty award is the Smashbox Photo Finish Light Foundation Primer, which retails for $36. This is specially developed for oily/acne-prone skin because it's oil-free and 60% water-based. It actually absorbs oil and contains light-reflecting pigments to minimise the appearance of imperfections.

Im not sure about face primers, but some eye primers that people love are:

Too Faced Shadow insurance, same as urban decay

There are quite a few out now and if you are on a budget a creamy concealer can work well too :)

Which are the best makeup products that won't ruin your skin when it comes to eyeshadow and eyeliner?

also where do you buy themWhich are the best makeup products that won't ruin your skin when it comes to eyeshadow and eyeliner?
well no eyeshadow or eyeliner will ruin your skin. but if you want something more natural and okay for your skin i recommend mineral makeup, which is found everywhere even MAC.

but stuff like foundation and powder is bad for your skin but even then if you wash it off every night thoroughly you'll be fine :]Which are the best makeup products that won't ruin your skin when it comes to eyeshadow and eyeliner?
Well if you want something cheaper Almay is really natural and they have cute eyeshadow packs for different color eyes to make them look their best but if you shop department store make up then Clinique is really great and 100% hypoallergenic so it's way better for your eyes and easy to remove when washing your face! =)

i don't like to wear too much makeupMy hair is down to my butt. what are cute ways to style it? anyone know great makeup tips i have olive skin?
You can put it up into buns or curl them. Long curly hair is beautiful. Olive skin looks great with bronzer and highlighter- it defines your cheekbones and it gives your skin a nice glow.

Wanna answer mine http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>My hair is down to my butt. what are cute ways to style it? anyone know great makeup tips i have olive skin?
I'd cut your hair a bit. I think hair that long tends to drag a person down.

You could style it in a twisty up-do or a bun.
olive skin makes your eyes pop, try some eye shadow, and some mascara, as for the hair, try loose curls.
Cut your hair about a foot and a half.

try everyday minerals! they are making a new site now....for now u can view the old site or the soft launch of the new one. isnt a drugstore brand but it is VERY affordable. You can try it out w/ a FREE kit at everydayminerals.com. yes, it is a powder but it is so good it is designed not to dry out your skin. together with the concealer it makes your face flawless you will looooove it. i was skeptical at first but i ordered the free kit (which comes with 3 mini foundations so u can figure out your color, 1 concealer, and one blush) and im now obsessed. plus if u get the colors wrong the first time you can keep ordering free kits there is no limit. the reg size foundations are only 5$. and concealers are around the same too. you can keep ordering free samples till u get ur colors rite! and they help u try to fig it out w/ the descriptions. good luck!Im a blonde with hazel eyes and an olive skin tone, what colors of makeup %26amp; brand should i use?
Almay has some amazing trios of colors for different colors of eyes. They have eyeshadows, eye liners, and mascara that will make your eyes pop!
stick to light natural green and some light natural brown and it will look great. dont over do it thought you probably shouldnt use too much eye liner with this natural shade.

Wedding eye makeup for dark skin complexion.?

I AM GETTING MARRIED AT THE END OF THE MONTH, I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT COMBINATION OF EYE MAKEUP COLOURS I SHOULD USE IF MY WEDDING DRESS IS BURGUNDY AND WHITE AND I AM DARK IN COMPLEXION.

HELP!!!Wedding eye makeup for dark skin complexion.?
I would do a little bit of white eye shadow. Some brown-red blush, and brown-red lipstick. That would look so pretty! Try a little mascara and a TOUCH of eyeliner.

Good Luck and Best Wishes!Wedding eye makeup for dark skin complexion.?
you can do like a reddish tone natural look with white in the corners and brow of your eyes. something like this http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/lo鈥?/a>

OR you can go to a mac cosmetic center at macys and have them do your makeup a few weeks before your wedding to see what you like. of course your gonna have to buy something for them to do your makeup but its worth it. just ask and have them come up with something for you.
i have seen gold look so pretty on people with black skin. Use some gold eyeliner, only on the top lid. I think top and bottom would be over kill. Maybe burgundy lipstick?

    Skin color / makeup?

I am not tan at all, I am pretty pale with just a hint of color, anyways I would like to be tan, but I here that sun exposure, and tanning, and tanning beds will give you skin cancer and wrinkles, is that true? because my cousin is like 18 and she tans like 3-5 times a week, and has been doing so for about 2-3 years, is she gonna get lots of wrinkles? Anyways I was just wondering does blush and bronzer look stupid and weird on pale people? Thanks.Skin color / makeup?
no it doesn`t look bad on pale peopleSkin color / makeup?
I have very fair skin too. Try using a foundation that matches your tone dont go darker for color. Then instead of using a powder follow with bronzer all over. do this lightly. You dont want to go too dark or it will look fake .just a little color will do.
Just put a little bronzer. Dont put powder. Studies shown that woman who wore makeup a lot turned out to be hideous in skin when they get older.

p.s- Do not go in a tanning booth, salon, etc. You will look like a lobster!
Your cousin will definitely get wrinkles, and has a very high risk of skin cancer due to all the UV rays.

Blush doesn't look weird on pale people, you just have to find the right one, which means testing out different colors from different brands. Bronzer may look ok, but, again, you have to find the right color for you.

I'm guessing you're a guy from your name, but the question you aksed sounds like a girl wrote it (sorry if you are a guy, lol) so if you are a girl, I'd use Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer, they have one for face and body. Get the one designed for pale skin tones and it should give you a summery glow in no time. I love it.

    Good luck, I hope I helped! :]%26lt;3
yes she will get wrinkles faster then many other people. maybe even cancer. but that is her fult for using those things. They are so bad for your skin. a pale pink bush would mostly be best for you. try and get a cream with bronzer in it that will make your skin tanner.

Greens, and blues eyeshadows. You Pigments from MAC. Light blush, Try matching your blush colour to your natural colour of your lips.Redhead slight tan skin, any Makeup ideas?
Depends, if your eyes are blue, use reddish tones like pearly pinks, peaches, and corals-they contrast with your blue eyes to make them stand out.

If your eyes are brown, try neutrals like soft beige, cocoa brown, and plummy brown-these pick up the flecks of bronze in your eyes.

If your eyes are green, Get eyeshadow with shades of purple like light lilac, deep plum, or bold violet-these contrasting colors accentuate and brighten your eyes.

If you have hazel eyes,Use warm shades like bronzy golds and shimmery ambers-these highlight the specks of gold, green, and even brown in your eyes.
wear eyeshadow that brings out ur eyes, by using a base color and a color that accents ur eyes. also use a natural but pretty lip color that stands out, like a caramel sort of
Well with a light tan you could try natural tones that would go nice with a red head. Like light brown, pale, or light pink eyeshadows. And some black mascara. Or something for nightlife like smokey sultry eyes with some color on your lips.
un already sound beautiful so dnt change
What a coincidence; I was just watching TV and I saw this young lady with red hair, kind of auburn that had on a flat coppery colored shadows on her eyes. It was the same tone as her hair with the crease a little darker of course. It was perfectly blended; I usually go over my shadow with a clean blush brush until its real smooth and even looking. Her blush was almost the same coppery tone and her lipstick was a pretty coral shade of pink. It seems like any lip color would go well since the rest of the makeup is monochromatic. Since your hair probably stands out you can variate and match the same colors for your eyeshadow and blush such as a peach shade, or a tan shade.

What kind of makeup is great for a deep skin and dark brown girl?

as in this i mean like what colors

what kinda mascara, eyeshadow, lip gloss etc.

I'm going into 8th grade. Im allow to makeup just not to much

so i dont look like a skank or anything.

    step by step or whatever.

    Thank you so much!

=]]]What kind of makeup is great for a deep skin and dark brown girl?
I would go with gold, deep purple and green colored eyeshadows. The colors go perfectly with a darker complexion. You can either go with a brown or black mascara. It really doesn't make a big difference in the color you choose. Just wear a light pink tinted lipgloss. There really isn't a step-by-step process. It's just a sweep of eyeshadow, apply the mascara, then tint your lips with lipgloss. Really, it's as simple as that. What kind of makeup is great for a deep skin and dark brown girl?
I have seen an article on this site that talk about right solution for dark skin. You may just take a look.

  • Help! I need hair, makeup, eyebrow, skin care, ANYTHING! ?

This is a picture of me without any makeup on.

    http://img78.imageshack.us/my.php?image=1000041do5.jpg

I usually like to wear only eyeliner and maybe mascara because I don't know what else would look good on me...

Frankly, I look BORING. These are the exact words some of my friends use to describe my appearance sometimes.

I WANT to wear makeup, and get a cute hairstyle and look pretty!!

**I AM GETTING A HAIRCUT TODAY! %26amp; I WAS THINKING ABOUT HIGHLIGHTS?

Please don't give me any of that ';you don't need it'; or ';beautiful on the inside'; crap. I just want photos or suggestions. Thanks!Help! I need hair, makeup, eyebrow, skin care, ANYTHING! ?
Get your hair long layered, with light highlights. You could do with some foundations + bronswing powder on your cheeks. Black eye liner + masara. With some light or dark eyeshadow with clear shimmered lipgloss. ALSO GET A SIDE FRINGEHelp! I need hair, makeup, eyebrow, skin care, ANYTHING! ?
You have somewhat of a wide forehead (not trying to be mean, I do too) so bangs would look waaaay cute. A cute bob to help your beautiful eyes stand out. Highlights would be cute. You have pretty skin so you don't need lots of makeup. Brown eyes work best with greens and purples. Be a little daring, try something new. I was like you a few years back and felt boring. I chopped my hair off and it made a world of a difference!
I think you should get some side bangs because your forehead is kinda big (LIKE MINE!! :D)

I think you should use some foundation to even out your skin tone and black mascara and maybe some gold eye shadow? Oh and eyeliner would look good too!! Oh and highlights would look very pretty on you!

    Good luck!
Maybe an arch to your eyebrows? I think this makes a lot of difference to a person.

Remember less is more particularly during the day so perhaps keeping it with simple brown mascara and eyeliner during the day and a bit of concealer? If it's a day time where you are doing something specific try a light foundation similar to your skin tone and browns and beige eyeshadows and a clear lipgloss.

In regards to making you more attractive I do believe you are pretty already and to enhance this at night times try a smokey black eye and cat-look liquid eyeliner and slightly darker foundation? There are tons of websites with tutorials for eyeshadow and make up.

My fave is www. temptalia. com

Consider a a side fringe and layers in your hair also.

    Hope this helps

Would you recommend Clinique makeup and skin care products for me?

I guess I have combination skin type. It's really dry and can get flakey if I don't use moisturizer right after washing, but as the day goes on it tends to get oily around my nose.

I break out a lot lately, especially around the time of my period. I guess you could say I always have a few blemishes.

My face skin color is much lighter than my body. My body tans in the sun, but my face always burns.

I'm really just looking for a good foundation.

I want a full coverage foundation that evens out my skin tone, hides blemishes easily, and lasts for a while, but I want it to look natural at the same time.

Can Clinique's products do this? Also can you tell me some benefits and disadvantages that come from Clinique?

What other products would you recommend?Would you recommend Clinique makeup and skin care products for me?
It's worth a try, but you won't know how it works for you until you try it. Most of us go through several brands before we find one that works for us.Would you recommend Clinique makeup and skin care products for me?
Clinique is healthier for your skin and is dermatologist recommended cause the oils in it are better for your skin. Like Mac foundation is bad for your skin cause they use macadamon nuts oil which isn't the best for your skin.

when your nose gets oily around your nose they sell oil paper. they are in small squares and your wipe your whole face with it and it eliminates the oils. There is a really good clean and clear one you could pick up at target.
i have the same skin! Clinique does not work for our skin type, and it doesnt really cover that well. It really dries out my skin! i use a foundation called, Neutrogena SkinClearing foundation. Its like really good! I got it at Wal Mart for 11.00 Its the best makeup! and when you sweat or anything, it does NOT come off. Its oil-free makeup and does not dry out your skin, and it doesnt clog your pores. Its new! I think this would be the best foundation for you!

    I hope I helped (:

Will wearing makeup at a young age ruin your skin in da future?

my sis is 12 i want to kno if she wears makeup now will it be bad for her skinWill wearing makeup at a young age ruin your skin in da future?
only if she uses the wrong stuff, doesn't clean her skin properly or doesn't use clean brushes it WILL harm her skin

Here's a good routine for someone her age:

    1. clean the skin everyday

    2. moisturizer with sunscreen (moisturizer is needed, even for oily skin)

    3. translucent mineral powder (NO TALC- that stuff is a filler that does harm skin) (maybe bare minerals)

make sure she washes it off every night with a gentle cleanser (don't use acne cleansers 2x a day- it's too drying). ensure that she doesn't share brushes and they are cleaned daily. if she uses her fingers to apply, make sure the hands are washed thoroughly. Will wearing makeup at a young age ruin your skin in da future?
Smoking will age your skin prematurely. Most make-up has lots of moisturizers and tested thoroughly, so it's probably OK.

I'd suggest not using too many cleansers to keep your skin clean. Washing away the natural oils of the skin too frequently is a common mistake of young people. Drying out the skin effects elasticity and then ages your skin.
a lot of makeup has talc in it, which is just a really cheap filler makeup companies put in their products and it can be pretty bad for your skin.

most mineral makeup doesn't have any but you should check the ingredients.

as long as she washes the makeup off every night (especially eyes) she should be okay.
yeah it's bad!!1 just start her off wid eyeliner. but don't go big yet. when i was 12 i was wearing blush and powder but then i kept thinking that, that will ruin my face in the future so i stopped now i'm just wearing eyeliner.. and i don't even wear it everyday. if you want good skin for future at least start around highschool years...
ok look.... if u wash ur face in a proper way then you do not have too worry.. I wear lots of make up too.. but my mom told me after I turned 21.. I'll have diamond peel that way.. My skin will be more looking young .. hehehe .. u see all those korean girls.. they have beautiful skin right .. hehe im asian... hehhe and Im filipina .. soo yea peace out . and Do not worry... worrying makes u look older..
    I hope it dosen't.

    i wear everything,

(eyeliner, mascara, foundation, concealer, pressed powder, sometimes bronzer)

    and im 13!
    YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i started wearing makeup when i was twelve and now in 17 and my skin looks like im 30.

now im forced to wear makeup no matter what.

please tell your little sister she beautiful the way she is!

Wear bright colors. They will look georges on your skin. Gold, urple, orange(sometimes), pink, all that! Lipgloss: Try peachy tones. Like mac lipglass in peach!!!!!!
i think darker skinned girls look good in purple or gold eyeshadow. its bold but it really brings out the eyes
ooh this look will be nice

Well i am indian and have brown skin:) I wear black eyeliner (makes eyes appear lighter nad gives skin creamy look), black mascara (makes dark eyes pop), Foundation that makes skin glow (whick makes eyes look good), beige, gold, and dark brown eyshadow (looks good with skin and eyes and hair), and a glossy pink lipgloss for a natural look! good Luck!
I am also light skinned as well so purples, smokey blues eyes, and smokey blacks, with basic black eyeliner really bring out our brown eyes. If i'm going to do dramatic eyemakeup I will use a neutral (or nude) lipcolor or for everyday, natural makeup I will pair it with pink or coral lipglosses.
    Mud!
    Natural:

    eyeshadow- bronze

    eyeliner- dark brown

lipgloss- just go with a sheer pinkish color

    Smokey:

    eyeshadow- http://www.temptalia.com/tutorial-smokey鈥?/a>

    Makeup for tired skin?

When I don't get enough sleep my skin looks dull/grey and dark circles are very obvious. I find that sometimes putting make up can make me look more tired. Does anyone have any tips for what kind of makeup (natural, classic, light, heavy, etc) or which colours to apply to tired skin? Any tips to wake up skin and for healthy glow? I'm 25, asian with medium fair skin, black hair and brown eyes. Thanks.Makeup for tired skin?
Try a tinted moisturizer which will give you glow (there are tons of different kinds- low end= Covergirl, Neutrogena and high end=Paula Dorf, Laura Mercier). Covergirl Medium Tinted moisturizer would be a good option to try before you decide to spend more money.

Definitely try a concealor that is a little lighter than your skintone and of a light consistency and dab it under your eyes and at the corners to brighten them up.

You can also try a pale gold eyeshadow to add some sparkle and line the upper lid with a thin line of brown eyeliner or eyeshadow(but not the lower lid).

And try a peachy lip gloss. The sheen will perk up your features, make you look more put together and will add some vibrancy and color to your face.

You can also try a blush to really wake your face up if you think you need it after the tinted moisturizer and other makeup. A peachy pink shade will be natural enough to make you look refreshed without making it look like you are wearing a lot of makeup :)Makeup for tired skin?
maybe you wear a wrong make up. you can try use mascara for your lashes. . anf put a light make up on. mascara on your lashes will help ';enlarge';: the look of ur eyes. b4 puting mascara, curl your lashes. it will look much vivid. hope this might help.
When your skin is starting to look tired, it is time for a facial. You can give yourself one at home. Use a sponge with a mild soap to wash away all the dead skin. Turn on your hot water, put a towel over your head and stick your head in the sink allowing the steam to clean your pores (careful not to burn yourself). Always moisturise before bed time, after a shower, and before going outdoors. Massage your face but don't pull the skin around the eyes. Never wear makeup that is too light, this will make you more tired not to mention scary. One last tip, try pulling your hair back of your face. Hope this helps.
    Use an oil base make-up.
Mary Kay Foundation is great. It last 10 hours and leaves your skin looking flawless. Just click the link below.
Tired skin needs revitalization. Make up enhances beauty - but is not meant to conceal your skin. Whatever is there - it enhances!

SO...good skincare is the place to start. I would recommend Microdermabrasion to you. It totally resurfaces your skin...and eliminates a dull look. Make sure to use a product that is followed with a replenishing cream. You will love how your skin feels and looks.

For dark circles...a good eye cream will help. The best remedy is a neutralizing yellow concealer followed by a beige concealer for your skin tone. Do not apply foundation over the concealers...have your foundation meet up and blend with the beige that is covering the yellow. This way you do not have heaviness under the eye.

Once you have your skin happy - almost any colors look great. I too have black hair, brown eyes and I love a smokey grey/charcoal look on our skin.

earthy green tones for your eyes with a bronze-green eyeliner. try CoverGirl Outlast All-Day Smoothwear Eyeliner in Sage.

Nude or Brownish pink for your lips. Try CoverGirl Incredifull Mocha Latte.

Golden pink cheeks. Try Neutrogena Healthy Skin Blends.

put a little highlighter on your cheekbones and brow bones!

xoxxo baby girl!I have light brown(ish) hair and fair skin...any makeup color recommendations?
Hmm what color are your eyes??

I agree Earth tones would be nice, then again, with fair skin it may be a little to dark for you...

I don't know how u feel about pink, but light shades of pink (pastels) go well on fair skin... If you go for darker colors, it looks like it is too much.....

with your light brown hair i suggest a golden color eye shadow with some addition color depending on the color of your eyes :-)I have light brown(ish) hair and fair skin...any makeup color recommendations?
    Earth tone colors. Browns, beige,creams.

  • Questions about makeup and skin?

Okay, so i'm in my early 20's and just started ';breaking out'; about a year ago. I've used proactiv and has worked great. For a while I've been using MAC foundation/concealer to hide my blemishes and zits but i've noticed it got worse. My friend said to stop using foundation b/c that causes more breakouts.

I also have just started to use bare minerals and i love it and noticed that i've been breaking out less.

    1. What is primer? and should i use it along with bare minerals?

    2. What's a good primer to use w. my skin condition (a combo of oily/dry.)

    3. Is it true that putting baby powder on your face works? It makes your face look less oily?Questions about makeup and skin?
wow you pretty much did exactly what i did - i used proactiv, and had used M.A.C products - but when my skin was getting worse I switched to bareminerals and now i love it like you do too. sweet :) Okay, so heres my answers to your questions:

    1. primer is basically a skin-preparing product used to smooth and refine the skin's texture, and make the appearance of enlarged pores smaller and less oily. By applying this on before applying foundation, it helps to allow your makeup to go on a lot more easily and helps you to apply less of it. In the meanwhile, primer also helps to set your makeup by providing a ';base'; for your foundation to hold onto, therefore your makeup does tend to last a bit longer throughout the day.

    2. A good primer can be pretty expensive. One primer that I really like is the the Photo Finish Foundation Primer by Smashbox ($36). It glides on pretty easily and leaves a silky smooth finish. Another good one to try is Dr. Brandt's Pores No More lotion ($50) which mattifies the oily parts of your skin effortlessly and seriously SHRINKS the size of ur porez dramatically. If your on a budget, I think Almay came out with a skin primer for like..$15, but i have not tried that one so I am not sure as to whether it would work on your combination skintype.

    3. I would not put any baby powder on your face. Though the talc in it helps to soak up the oil, there are other ingredients in baby powder such as the perfume that could irritate acne prone/ oily skin. Plus, it leaves a powdery white residue on your skin and can ruin ur makeup application. Instead, use oil blotting sheets to remove excess oil throughout the day. These are great b/c not only do they remove oil, but they also dont leave a nasty film on your skin like mattifying powders and shine removing lotions do. Clean and Clear sells 50 oil blotting papers for $6 and work pretty well.

    4. I simply put on some primer after I wash and moisturize my skin, and wait for it to set for 5 minutes. Then I apply my bareminerals foundation, then the mineral veil, and Im good to go for the day. I'll touch up any oily areas with oil blotting sheets later on the day if i need to.

    Good luck :)

    Questions about makeup and skin?
Mac studio fixx totally made me break out !!! It sucks !!

Make sure you moisturize lightly, and then use primer .. using a Matte powder is your best option to help keep away the oily look, and you can also buy face blotters that you can use throughout the day ..

The only reason you need a primer is because you are using the bare escentuals. I highly recommend switching brands like sooo many others are doing. Bare escentuals uses a cheaper, lower end mineral called bismuth oxychloride (which is known to cause irritaition, breakouts etc in some people) this ingredient also makes you look shiny and oily (especially in photos) and wears off after a few hours of wear. I personally have used bare escentuals so I can vouche for this. I switched to FAERIE ORGANIC MINERALS for many reasons.......They are ALL NATURAL, unlike bare escentuals who lies and uses parabeans preservatives in their mineral veils etc (no parabeans etc) They use a high end expensive mineral called BORON NITRIDE- YOU DO NOT NEED A PRIMER WITH THEIR MAKEUP IT STAYS PUT! Boron nitride is anti-bacterial (helping heal acne) and is a skin perfector and soother. They do not use cheap fillers such as cornstarch or talc. You really need to try them. They offer a free sample kit at their site (you just pay shipping) and then you can compare the difference to bare minerals. They are more affordable than bare also. Read their customer reviews (especially on how long they last) http://www.faerieorganic.com
Primer is to go under foundation but if you have problems with breakouts I wouldn't use it. I am also prone to breakouts and also use bare minerals. If you want to condition your skin for foundation you should just use a light moisturizer like olay all day complete for sensitive skin and then when it has soaked in almost all the way then apply the foundation. I have never put baby powder on my face. If you want your face to look less oily, you should try clean %26amp; clear or eyeslipsface (elf) blotting sheets. They remove oil throughout the day without messing up your makeup. I am actually trying everyday minerals because it has the same ingredients, except without bismuth oxychloride which I just found out can irritate peoples skin, make it more oily and also is a byproduct of metal smelting. I have never had my skin irritated by bare minerals but I still don't want that on my face! I checked out the other ingredients and they're fine. You can get a free 5 piece sample kit from everydayminerals.com I only had to pay $3 shipping.
M.A.C will clog your pores if you have acne prone skin.

Bare minerals is great for acne prone skin because it DOES NOT clog your pores. You don't need a face primer. Its suppose smooth out your skin and it works as a base for your face make-up. Its also suppose to help your make-up stay on. You can simply just use a face moisturizer. I never heard of baby powder. Try using a cleanser/moisturizer for oily skin. If you want to use a primer go ahead. Ask the people at the make-up counter, they'll help you find the perfect product for your skin.

Primer just helps set the makeup and keeps it looking fresh all day. Bare minerals does have a primer that should be good for you skin because it will contain natural ingredients. And as far as the baby powder I probably wouldn't do that. Just use a loose powder that is for oily skin. Or try the blotting clothes throughout the dry. It will remove the oil but not the makeup (you can get these at any drug store).

How can i get perfect skin that looks nice with makeup not with spots under the skin etc also i hate my teeth?

Use products that are made of minerals, and not chemiclas. It may cost you more, but beauty is either painful or costly. Also, get a good facial lotion, Dove or Nivea, to moisturize after removal. Always take it off at night.

Skin imperfections dont actually come from the makeup itself, it comes form the way you manage the makeup on your skin.

I dont wear makeup, so i would really suggest you dont either, but to each his own (her own, whatever...)

    bananas

How can i get perfect skin that looks nice with makeup not with spots under the skin etc also i hate my teeth?

Good makeup tips for me? i have light light features (lightblonde hair, blue eyes, really fair skin)?

i have really really really white skin, light light blonde hair, and medium blue eyes. what eye liner, shadow, blush, lip gloss would go good with my features? thanks!Good makeup tips for me? i have light light features (lightblonde hair, blue eyes, really fair skin)?
Eyeliner: try a light charcoal color, preferrably in pencil or crayon.

Shadow: stick with cool colors. Silver, only a little bit of light blue sometimes (too much makes almost anyone look trashy), light purple... you get it.

    Blush: light - medium pink.

Lipgloss: use either something sheer, or something light pink.Good makeup tips for me? i have light light features (lightblonde hair, blue eyes, really fair skin)?
just the regular stuff. the best makeup that is pretty cheap is nutrogena. my friends friend wears the regular makeup and she has fair skin and blond hair.
Well your just like me! I am the white one in the family! I have really nice Blond hair, really fair skin, and green eyes.

What i would use for lip gloss is probably Light pinks, or light colors! U don't want to make your lips look to big! For eye liner probably a light or medium dark brown. DON'T USE BLACK unless you want to make your eyes really stand out! For Blush do ligher tones. For Eye Shadow Do colors that match your outfit, or go opposite with it! Have fun doin your Makeup! :)
light pink blush, eyeliner and light blue eyeshadow, and pink lip gloss. =)
go with a soft rose colored blush, light purple eye shadow, almost same color eyeliner, and black mascara. as for lipgloss, you can go with clear or peach.
+black eyeliner [to make your eyes pop]

+smokey eyes [grey, black, and charcoal eyeshadow]

+rose blush [for a smooth cheek]

+shimmering champaign pink lipgloss [neutrel, yet pretty]

    glad to help :]
Light pink lip gloss. A light pinky blush. For eyes try experimenting with light blues. For a more everyday look try Retro Glow Illuminating eye shadow, the ';classic crystal'; color would look great. A little in the corners of your eyes goes a long way. Its a shimmery light whitish natural color. You can get it at CVS. Get a brown mascara too. For a powder grab the neutral colored balls (you'll know what im talking about when you see them). They're in the same section as the shadow.
brown-ish mascara only to top lashes

    rosy soft pink bush

    very light lip gloss

keep yur make-up very simple %26amp; neutral

you might over do it with bold colors
A good makeup plan for fair skin is to keep it simple during the day and play up your assets at night!

DAYTIME: A light shimmer pink blush for your cheeks and neck, a lightly tinted lip gloss, Black/ brown mascara

EVENING: matte powder (matching your skin color), blush in a slightly darker shade, shimmer eyeshadow, brown/black eyeliner, brown/ black mascara- and dont forget its always fun to add alittle shimmer to your brow bone (under the ends of your eyebrow)

    Sensitive skin and makeup help?

Hello everyone, I am in high school and I have very sensitive skin. I used the shiseido foundation which was great but 6 months later I had these red bumps on my face. My mom took all of my foundations and cover ups thinking it was because of shiseido but it wasn't. She won't listen to me anyways so yeah. My skin doesn't look bad (except for the few huge pimples on my face) but any safe skin clearing and natural brightening line so I can have somewhat flawless skin without makeup? Thanks :)Sensitive skin and makeup help?
Go with a fragrance free and chemical free product. I know people like their products to smell good, but you can have a product ';smell'; good without the use of a fragrance. How? Products that contain essential oils, and they do not clog the skin because they are an oil. Essential oils are natural and are found in many products How do you avoid a chemical free product? Pick a natural based skin care and makeup line, such as Origins. If you don't know what's in the product, check the ingredients. The best way to avoid a reaction is to use a natural product.Sensitive skin and makeup help?
Your mom is just concerned for you and she probably knows how irritating most of these make-ups can be, no matter how expensive they are! Starting a good skincare regimen is key to great skin and needing less make-up too. Here are two great links below to share with your mom and let her know that you're willing to meet her half way on this subject. Both these sites have products that you will love and put your mom's worries to rest knowing they are safe and good quality...who knows? she may find a product she likes herself, Good luck sweetie!

Is makeup actually really bad for your skin or do people just say that?

i dont wear alot of makeup because apparently its bad for your skin (according to my mum) but does she just say that cause she doesnt want me looking like a tart? What actually happens if your Poures do get blocked up? Is it really as bad as they make out?

xIs makeup actually really bad for your skin or do people just say that?
yh is it they showed it on gok wans programme miss naked beauty 2008. they have like 14 women and they all used make up and they showed how their skin aged like hell cos of the make up it was really horrible so yes make up can ruin your skinIs makeup actually really bad for your skin or do people just say that?
because she applies it correctly.Gothgowl is not 100% correct...makeup does not ruin your skin. Its how a person applies and how a person takes care of their skin while wearing the makeup. Also,Choosing the right kind of makeup for your skin type is also very important. Report Abuse

It can ruin it if you don't take care of your skin and apply it correctly. Report Abuse

It depends on which kind of make up. For example, cream foundation is pretty heavy so it could be bad for a teenager since cream foundation is designed for older skin but hey it works for me anyways!

This whole business about it clogging pores comes from two different factors.

One, is from cross-contamination/not cleaning make up brushes or renewing make up sponges which harbor alot of bacteria causing breakouts.

Two, alot of foundations carry mineral oil, something used to polish wood or give a sheen to them. It basically sits right on top of the skin, and there for clogs pores. Plus alot of mineral foundations have talc, which doesn't let the skin breathe what so ever, therefore clogs pores too.

So it depends on the ingredients, and the keeping clean of the applicator!

*I forgot to add, as long as you dont fall asleep in your foundation you should be ok, and remove it correctly with a make up remover.
Makeup isn't good for the skin if it is not followed up with a proper removing and skincare regime. Some cosmetics which are made of inferior substances clog your skin. For me, I always make sure I spend alot more on my powder and eyeshadows (very delicate eye area). And I spend alot on skincare products and facials. I used to spend alot on cosmetics and neglected skincare so my skin was really bad at one time and I could not even go out with a yellowish face with no makeup on. Now, thankfully, I don't need to rely on powders etc when I go out as I take excellent care of my skin. It helps me save alot of $$$ on cosmetics.
Makeup is not bad for your skin. With the correct makeup application...being applied to your face %26amp; makeup always being removed at night when you go to bed. You'll be fine...

Always.I mean always apply makeup to your skin when its clean and always make sure you clean your skin before applying makeup. To protect your skin from blemishes or acne outbreaks that can happen as a result of oil or old makeup remaining on your skin and clogging your pores.Makeup is not purposely bad,Its how you use it and apply it.
It depends on what makeup you use. If you use the cheap stuff it will be worse for your skin than others. Some makups include moisturizers and minerals which actually promote the skin cells on your face. Some like Neutrogena have benozine in it with actually heals acne. So to say all makeup is bad for you is very presumptuous. Just be concious of whats in your makeup and you'll be ok.
If you're buying the right make up, it won't make your skin worse at all. There are actually some make up products out there than improve the appearance of your skin. Make up looks best on clean, moisturized skin, so make sure you're using the right products for you.Neutrogena has oil free foundation with SPF in it, along with ingredients to actually help you fight break outs while you're wearing it. Look for it in your local drug store. However, there are some products that can clog your pores which in turn does create break outs. Look for the words ';hypoallergenic';, ';non-comedogenic'; and ';oil free'; on the make up you buy. This will ensure that the make up you're buying won't clog your pores, doesn't have any oil in it, and it doesn't have any unnecessary fragrances or minerals in it that will contribute to pimples. Powder is just that. It's just powder. It lets your skin breathe a lot more than foundation. However, foundation does give you a lot more coverage than just powder alone. Make sure you're washing your face free of make up at the end of the day before you go to bed. If you sleep with your make up on, you have a higher chance of clogging your pores, and therefore more pimples.
    Makeup isn't too horrible-

It doesn't help if you have skin issues though,

and if you don't wash it off, it can lead to clogged pores,

but I always uses Physician's Formula which can actually help you skin.

Some other product brands are Bare Minerals and Clinique if you end up wearing makeup late on down the road...
if you were globs of it, it is but if you where just light foundation, a little lipgloss/lipstick and some eyeshadow it will be fine BUT NEVER EVER WHERE MAKEUP TO BED! Wash it off with a wash cloth and cool water before bed and lather with a cool moistureizer. But I would use hypoallergenic which is lighter on the skin and is less likely to cause acne :)

    good luck!
its not bad. dont pack it obv.

but its not bad i watched a doctor thing on channel 4

and the doctor told the teen its not bad.

    he said milk is?

    and other thing i forgot

but unless you have exema or something it wont do harm

dont pack it over spots tho!

and actually the girl that said cheap one is bad.

thats wrong its was on E! that makeup artists were (sneakily) using cheap foundations ect.
its not really bad for the skin i mean not for everybody. i for one noticed that since i started using make up, my skin became smooth, maybe because of some chemicals in the make up that can actually do some good in your skin. other people have different experience, like they have break outs or their skin became oily etc. but if you really wanna try make up, i suggest you try the most skin friendly brands like neutrogena or clinique(fragrance free and so hypo allergenic). hpe this helped!
It does clog your pores but using great moisturizers and washing your face with good face wash would generally unclog your pores and will help keep your skin healthy. It is all in the matter of how well you clean your face and whether or not you have a good skin care routine to keep your skin from breaking out.
Yes, it really is bad for you. That is why so much effort is spent on cleaning products to get it off, and out of the pores of your skin.

Makeup should only be used to hi-lite your features, not to hide them, or make new ones.
It Is Actually Bad For Your Skin.

But If You Use Sensible Amounts, And Always Take It Off, Clense And Moustories, Then You Should Be Fine (:

    Hope This Helps, Good Luck.

Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year %26lt;3 x
Its not bad for your skin as long as you don't use too much and remove it at night.

If your pores get clogged then you get spots and blackhead.. Eek.
Just wash your face afterwards. Buy a makeup remover if you have to.

If you take care of your skin, there shouldn't be a problem.
    It is.

    It clogs

    your pores

    and it can prevent

    breakouts on your skin.
    It is bad.
as long as you remove it than its not a problem

go into macys %26amp; browse around all the make up brands. they'll tell you about the brand, wether its hypoallergenic or organic or whatever. you can have them try some on you %26amp; you can pick whichever you like best.I have dark skin and i need makeup help?
I use M.A.C and it is WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have all of my make-up products from M.A.C . . .And, they are good on my skin! They don't clog my pores. . .M.A.C even sells skin cleaing products too!!!!! Make sure you wash your face every night when you are using make-up. Your skin needs to breath after wearing make-up and it gets a chance to at night when it is clean. . .

And, M.A.C is the best for darker skin tones!!!!! Most of the women that I have seen that work at the M.A.C counter in Macy's or the M.A.C store, are dark skinned and their skin looks FLAWLESS!

    Good Luck!
it is best for you to get a foundation as close to your natural skin tone as possible. and since you have dark skin, you can wear bright colors and bright makeup. not too bright because you don't wanna look like a hooker.

  • Is my makeup hurting my skin?

I've had mild acne on my face for a very long time, and have always covered it up with concealer or foundation. (currently using covergirl tru-blend)

i've been wondering: if i stopped wearing makeup for a while, and kept up with the medicine and moisturizer i've been using, will that help my skin clear up faster?

I'm 15 if that helps at all. Is my makeup hurting my skin?
Yeah, I've never really had any acne problems, but if I ever even start to break out I don't wear makeup. If I wear makeup to cover it up, it just gets worse, so i put on more makeup, making it even more worse, etc. Just go fresh and don't touch your face other than a light daily washing.

It's just a nasty cycle. But I used to have this really awesome makeup that had salicylic acid (the drug in acne medicine) in it which would clear your acne while covering it, and it comes in a ton of different shades. Is my makeup hurting my skin?
Jus dnt put it on when ur not going anywhere special

make sure u exfoliate regularly and drink loadsa water and also moisturize

Best drugstore makeup for dry(ish), light skin with freckles and some redness?

i need foundation (preferably liquid), concealer, bronzer, and maybe a powder. from a drugstore. i've used physician's formula loose powder and i loved the coverage, but i think their lightest shade was too dark. i've also used revlon colorstay foundation, but it doesn't cover much on my face and you can see it around my nose. suggestions?

thanks!Best drugstore makeup for dry(ish), light skin with freckles and some redness?
You can try the Revlon (I think it was revlon...i know for sure it's one of the main drugstore brands) Stay Matte which is liquid foundation or Bare NAturale by Loreal which is mineral. My friend who is extremely fair wears the mineral one and loves it but I know you said you'd rather have liquid lol.

You didn't mention if you used a primer, perhaps that could help seeing your nose area. I'd also invest in a finishing powder. I think NYC makes a cheap mineral one but you can als ocheck loreal, maybelline or revlon's mineral lines for one as well.

Concealer, I'd say the sephora brand ones are actually pretty good and not too expensive. i think 8-12 dollars. Otherwise stick with physicians formula, i think they make good concealers personally!

Bronzer either sephora brand (it's a HUGE disc!!) or if you insist on drugstore maybelline has some good ones in their mineral line that come in pressed powder and liquid forms. Oh and loose powder form as well. Just remember to use a very very light hand when applying it because too much bronzer will make you look like burnt toast!Best drugstore makeup for dry(ish), light skin with freckles and some redness?
Almay does amazing for dry skin. There foundations and concealers are mostly target for dry skin.

Get a cream foundation. Find a color that matches your neck and put on the foundation first. Then try and find the same shade from the same company you get your foundation but in a concealer. Take a concealer brush and dap it onto the areas that need more coverage.

What is the best makeup brand for teenage girls w/ oily skin. NOt to expensive.?

um yah not to exepensive plz but i do have oily skin and acne and black head so yahWhat is the best makeup brand for teenage girls w/ oily skin. NOt to expensive.?
Mineral makeup is great for skin that's oily w/acne. Of course it won't cover the bumps themselves, but it will help to alleviate the redness associated with acne. Everyday Minerals, Aromaleigh, and Signature Minerals are all great brands that offer free samples, so that you can try them out. Everyday Minerals (in the intensive formula) is my fave because it gets great coverage w/o looking like I have a mask on...also it doesn't break me out which is great. And Everyday Minerals it has great prices (only $12 for foundation that lasts 3+ months!!). Oh, and stay away from Bare Minerals...it has Bismuth Oxychloride which is known to cause bumps and itchiness on the skin (it's no fun...trust me). You can see reviews on all these and more at makeupalley.com. On acne.org you can see what type of makeup others w/acne wear and get some advice from them too. Good Luck and I hope you find something that works for you! :)What is the best makeup brand for teenage girls w/ oily skin. NOt to expensive.?
Hmm...I would go with Loreil makeup
one word: clinique, perfect for teenage girls, any skin type, go get a free makeover there and tell them ur skin type theyll give ya the right make-up, i did it and it worked!
I like Maybelline's Cream Matte Mouse. Its about $10 at any drug/grocery store. I have oily acneridden skin myself, and this keeps my skin looking normal %26amp; doesnt smudge off. just make sure you wash it off before bed because you WILL break out if you leave it on!
Perfect Pigment by Christina Sullivan - it's new by a makeup artist, there's one for lighter/med skins and one for dark - great for oily and regular skins - and it's all natural stuff

Covergirl. It's really inexpensive, especially compared to others and they have special products for those people with oily skin.
i went to clinique at nordstroms and got a makeover for free and they told me what kind of skin i had and i was oily. they showed me a great skin care/wash set and i got it. they also matched my skin color with a foundation number. i also got that. it's not terribly expensive, but kinda. it also lasts a while and it's sooo much better than that cheap stuff.
i too have oily skin. I sell high quality mineral makeup.(Ellie-Maegen Cosmetics) I love my products but i have also been using a high quality organic skin care(i also sell) but more expensive does not mean better. i have tried almost everything, my stuff works.people always stop me now %26amp; say how good i look. it is all in the products. department store doesn't mean always better. i will answer any of your questions. lorraine (Ellie-Maegen Cosmetics)
true blend this stuff is amazing i just used it for the first time today and it was love at first sight! you use the whipped foundation and with a brush just paint it on then i use a bronzer from true blend and my cheeks are naturally rosie which i hate but that just all when away everything just dissapeared my face was BEAUTIFUL you should deffinetly try it out
    Physician's formula

What kind of makeup and cleansers i can use for my skin. my skin is very sensitive and i have alot of pores.?

anything i put in my skin i get so much pores and a little of acne. i need smething that can help my skin to look healthy. i seem never to find the perfect makeup and cleanser for my face. can some one help me pleaseWhat kind of makeup and cleansers i can use for my skin. my skin is very sensitive and i have alot of pores.?
hi, not everyone will benefit from the same brand. you need to assess your skin type and then find a product to suit you. i find that if you use a good cleanser to suit your skin type then you are almost there on having perfect skin. make sure you use a good method to apply your cleanser otherwise your not making the most of a good cleanser. this is what i do:

STEP ONE: make sure your hands are clean otherwise your just spreading dirt. thensplash your face with warm water.

STEP TWO: squeeze a small amoount of your cleanser into your palms or a small cotton washcloth.

STEP THREE: apply the cleanser to your face using a circular motion. make sure you cover all areas (forehead, nose, chin, cheeks, neck etc). massage your face for about a minute. allow the cleanser to penetrate the skin for a few minutes.

STEP FOUR: rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. make sure you have removed all traces of the cleanser. you can use a face sponge, a muslin cloth or cotton pads to remove your cleanser. at the end, rinse your face with cold water to shrink the enlarged pores and to improve blood circulation.

STEP FIVE: dry your face with a facial towel.

STEP SIX: once you have cleansed your skin, you should begin the next step- toner.

    ...so, whats the best cleanser?

some of the best cleansers like i said before arent fancy and expensive.

the best cleansers for... SENSITIVE SKIN:

AVON CLEAR SKIN FOAMING CLEANSER: inexpensive yet gentle.

CETAPHIL GENTLE SKIN CLEANSER: as i have said before, theres no bells and whistles with this. its a baby mild product that even dermatologists swear by. its clean, simple and isnt loaded with chemicals or perfumes that irritate the skin. its just the best, cheap cleanser out there.

AVEDA ALL-SENSITIVE CLEANSER: perfect cleanser and not too pricey.

NINA RICCI ROSEE GEL PURIFICANTE: when it had a name like this you know its going to be expensive. this cleanser has been described as 'sensual' and it smells lovely- like roses.

then just use a good toner and moisturiser. also if you have time, treat yourself to a homemade facial mask once a week (you can find loads of recipies on the internet) and a good facial scrub.

    hope this helps

xWhat kind of makeup and cleansers i can use for my skin. my skin is very sensitive and i have alot of pores.?
for makeup you can try loose powders or mineral makeup such as the loreal bare naturals or maybelline mineral power. when looking for products always read what ingredients is used..try to avoid makeup that contains oils, fragrance and talc. and for cleansers you can try the olay daily facial cleansers they're really good, they remove oil, dirt, and even makeup and leaves your skin feeling soft.

a makeup that i recommend would be maybelline's pure line. it contains 50% water and has no oil or fragrance heres a link that shows you what the products look like

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>How to make my skin pale without makeup?
    put powder on it

umm except for that just stay in a cave for 3 monthsHow to make my skin pale without makeup?
Um I'm sorry but why would you WANT to be pale?

Well ok its easy just don't go in the sun too often, or if you do wear a hat. Wear bucket loads of sunscreen, don't drink much water, and don't get a lotta sleep.

Warning: You may look and actually be sick and unhealthy if you don't drink enough water or get enough sleep.
I dont see how you can without putting on the lightest possible shade of make ups to help... other than that, avoiding the sun at all costs, and starving yourself which might make you sickly pale. lol

Why would you want to make yourself paler? Be happy with your own skin tone.
My gf used to put baby powder on her face. She used the pad from the compact. It made he look pale.

    Summer makeup...oily skin..please help!!!!?

    hello...

i have got a bit oily skin...that is also a but dry but becomes oily in summer..i apply kohl pencil and little foundation daily before going to college..it is hot now a days here and will become hotter in next month...my makeup becomes really stupid in summer..it really get spoiled when i go out in summer...i don't know how to maintain it...my eyes don't look good without kohl pencil inside them...but the kohl really smudges and look very bad...and my foundation vanishes after an hour....i use a cream stick foundation..this is the only thing that suits me...the color is perfect for me i did not find this color in any powder or liquid foundation...liquid foundation never suit my skin....so i have to use the same cream stick foundation..please give any tips that how to maintain my makeup so that it may look fresh .....not oily :-( please helpSummer makeup...oily skin..please help!!!!?
I think the best Powder to set your makeup is Corn Silk. Have used it for years, get the loose translucent. It will help with the oily skin. It's made by Sally Hansen.Summer makeup...oily skin..please help!!!!?
hm...since you only apply a little foundation, then you might try using some tinted moisturizer, and there's waterproof cream liner that you could use instead of the kohl. It still smudges a bit in the first few minutes after you apply it, so you could try creating the same look with that.

    cream liner: http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P190022%26amp;searchString=shiseido%20cream%20liner

Hope I answered your question somewhat =)
you have combination skin. all that means is that you've got dry and oily skin, probably depending on your diet, make-up choice, the weather, etc. you should probably find a good matte foundation rather than a cream stick because they tend to melt right off during humid summer months. try a shade lighter in Maybelline's Dream Matte Mousse (only about $8.00)...this stuff is fantastic, it goes on creamy and moisturizing and then dries to a smooth powder finish. Also, invest in some 'blotting' papers that you can dab the oil off your face with during the day. (E.L.F. has really good ones for $1.00)

After you've applied your foundation, going less on the chine, t-zone, and jawline (those are the places that get the oiliest, I find) Clean it up with the pressed powder of your choice with a foundation brush (those big coverage brushes) Find a water-proof liner in a deep espresso brown rather than black...it'll look a lot softer for summer. (try CoverGirl Perfect Point liner) Top it off with a nude lip gloss of your choice and some waterproof mascara and you're good to go.
    1. Try a waterproof pencil liner

Lots of makeup companies make 'em just look it up.

    2. As for foundation, a cream isn't gonna work well.

Revlon Colorstay has 20 shades and lasts for 16 hours! They even have one for oily/combination skin...it's on the bottle.
    TRUE MINERAL PRESSED FOUNDATION-

    IT WILL CHANGE YOUR WORLD

    http://www.truecosmetics.com/site/SpaLoc鈥?/a>

    usually at high end spas

    but it is only $42

and a hint- dont over dry face with products cause your skin will just over produce oil -

use cream blushes and eye colors
#1-Apply makeup after smoothing an oil-free moisturizer all over your face and before applying any other makeup. In very hot weather, rely on primer to keep your makeup in place and use less foundation, which is heavier and more likely to melt off. Unless, bareMinerals, that stuff doesn't come off in heat or water.

#2-Refrigerate your primer. When you apply it to your face, the cooling affect reduces puffiness. Plus, the crisp feel provides an invigorating start to your day, and the refrigeration conserves the makeup longer.

#3-Switch from foundation to tinted moisturizer, or use a blend of the two. Blending lets you update your foundation color to match your summer skin tone, which is usually a bit darker due to increased sun exposure. Plus, the texture of a blend will be more sheer, more natural and lighter than just foundation, so your skin will breathe and glow. A tinted moisturizer alone is even lighter and looks very summery.
Use an oil free moisturizer like Clean and Clear Dual Action Oil Free.

And step away from a cream stick foundation!! Go with something like Revlon Colorstay for oily/combo skin. You also need a powder to help absorb the oil. I use Sally Hansen Cornsilk and love it. I only have to touch up once during the day.

鈥ontouring is using a darker shade of foundation, blusher, brunette brow liner or concealer to help correct, contour, or define the shape of the face, nose, eyes, and cheekbones.

鈥ighlighting is using a lighter shade of eye shadow, blusher, or Concealer to enhance and bring forward cheeks, eyes, and brow-bone area.

鈥o enhance the wear of your eyeliner, lightly dust over lined area with a similar color eye shadow using an angled brush.

鈥o create a timeless look, go for dramatic eyes or lips, but not both.

鈥pply Foundation Primer to eyelids prior to applying eye shadow to help beautify and extend color.

鈥inding the correct foundation is most important. After that, warm or cool doesn鈥檛 matter. Just don鈥檛 blend warm and cool colors in the same makeup application.

鈥ry applying concealer under eyes after applying foundation, and blend well.

If your skin gets oily, you shouldn't be using a cream foundation - it will only make you look more oily. Cream foundation is best used on skin types that are dry-very dry. Try mineral foundation - it's really great for skin that gets oily. Mary Kay just came out with a really great one that stays on really well. I don't think you will have a problem getting your correct color - it's very versatile. You might also want to try using an oil mattifier - it absorbs oil and helps control shine. As for kohl liner, kohl is really nice, but if it's smudging then it's not the right one for you. You can get the same or similar look with a regular eye liner in the same shade you are using.
i think you need to switch to tinted moisturizer for the summer. if you must use the cream stick, set it with powder. find a waterproof kohl liner, make up for ever makes one. use make up for ever mist and fix for refreshing

REVLON BEYOND NATURAL SKIN MATCHING MAKEUP? What a wonder!?

How does it work! http://www.revlon.com/ProductCatalog/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductID=161REVLON BEYOND NATURAL SKIN MATCHING MAKEUP? What a wonder!?
Hey! Almay came out with theirs FIRST (Smart Shade Makeup) don't you forget it. Revlon is a dirty cheating loser of a copy... lol. And by the way, the Almay products will not clog pores, it clearly says that on the product, but does the REVLON one say it on there? NOPE. (But they both have SPF 15).

It's a (not so secret now) formula that is different than any other liquid foundation with tiny little beads of color mixed with a white moisturizer-like substance. Those beads activate (blend and change color) when rubbed into skin to achieve a natural look. It is rather thin compared to most foundations, but it looks 10x more natural. Best use a concealer underneath first, like Smart Shade Concealer to hide scars/zits/other imperfections. Looks so awesome, I'm wearing it right now! lolREVLON BEYOND NATURAL SKIN MATCHING MAKEUP? What a wonder!?
When You buy the skin matching make-up you choose your skin tone color. then instead of clogging your pores with powder and foundation you rub this on your skin and it will match your skin tone by setting in your skin making it look more natural than powder. (basically its just powder in a liquid form to match your skin tone and make it look natural) it doesn't do anything else! :D hope i helped

say you have somewhat bad skin and the only way to make it flawless is with makeup. so if you have flawless skin but with makeup is that still pretty?Flawless skin but with makeup?
Very few people have flawless skin, and beauty is however you get there. SO YES, beauty with makeup is still pretty!!!Flawless skin but with makeup?
You can use Dinair Airbrush Makeup for Perfect Skin. It's a great product with a reasonable price. Your skin will look flawless, and you'll get a perfect finish every time. You can see, and buy it from the following link.

It's hard to fake flawless since we can't all afford top quality makeup. The more you put on, the more caked-on it looks. It's best to use a small bit just to even out your tone, then invest in a good concealer, or a couple.

Washing your face before bed is always good to get off the day's dirt and buildup.
yea but it cant look fake, like cakey or orange or it will look even worse
    of course its still pretty

Is my makeup hurting my skin?

I've had mild acne on my face for a very long time, and have always covered it up with concealer or foundation. (currently using covergirl tru-blend)

i've been wondering: if i stopped wearing makeup for a while, and kept up with the medicine and moisturizer i've been using, will that help my skin clear up faster?

I'm 15 if that helps at all. Is my makeup hurting my skin?
Yes, I think that leaving off the makeup for a while will help. I did that for a couple of weeks and started using some medicated face scrubs, and when I was done, my skin looked way healthier and had a nice glow. I use covergirl tru-blend too, but I try to avoid using concealer/foundation all over my face and just putting it on broken-out spots. When I'm not doing something where I need to look my best, I just use mineral power, which doesn't make me break out too badly. But, anyways, taking a break from makeup can do nothing but good for your skin. It may not clear up completely, but it will look better. Good luck! : )Is my makeup hurting my skin?

Ladies, please help!! Huge problem with skin and makeup.?

I am 34 and I have no idea what is going on with my face! It is breaking out and splotchy looking. Dark circles under my eyes, my nose looks red, my pores seem huge. None of the makeup I use covers my face no concealer or foundation works and I have tried lots. I can't find a foundation that will cover this mess and look nice and smooth. I know I need to fix the problem of my skin also. I am also on a tight budget. Can anyone please help? I am going crazy and feel horrible about my looks.Ladies, please help!! Huge problem with skin and makeup.?
It takes a little big of confidence to look great, so...

#1 : don't stress about your looks or skin; things will get better.

#2: if your face is breaking out badly, you need to avoid wearing makeup or any heavy lotion products on your face. it will cause more oils on your face to produce zits. wash your face four or five times a day for about a week, then apply a light oil-free face lotion. Ponds or Oil of Olay has a great line that help the appearence of your skin also.

#3 if your makeup isn't covering well, you might be buying the wrong type of makeup for you skin. the best foundation i have ever bought it Revlon Colorstay for Combination Skin. It works great; covering as much or as little as I need to, and I don't have to reapply at all during the day.

#4 a girls best friend is concealer. carry a concealer stick in your purse with you at all times. if you're looking tired, and need a quick pick me up dig into your purse, find your concearler, and dab a few dots under your eyes, and in the corners. especially in the CORNERS of your eyes! it makes your eyes look more open when concealer is applied!

i hope this helps you, and i hope you start to feel comfortable about the way you look and your skin! just be confident, and honey you will feel beautiful!Ladies, please help!! Huge problem with skin and makeup.?

ok im only 12 an i can help u out.just gb et clearasil cleansing pads an clearasil acne cream for your breakkout problem.it works within like days....no flippin' joke either.and if you haveent tried it yet then try almay foundation.thats what i use.all this stuff $25-$30 bucks.i use all this stuff and it works for me.
Okay...Aveeno has some facial products that are amazing for break outs AND to even out your skintone to take out the splotchiness. I use their Positively Radiant cleansing pads, cleanser AND moisturizer. It seriously works wonders. [it got one of the Allure beauty awards] You shouldn't try to pile on foundation and concealer to cover up, it will only make things worse. You need to let your skin breathe, not smother it. I used to use foundation, but now i use a loose powder mineral foundation. I think it works better. You control how much you cover. It's amazing. For underneath your eyes, try Neutrogena eye cream... my mom uses it, and it seems to work well.
I have the ultimate solution for you that I stake my reputation on of 20 years.

I have a very successful salon and the only products I am currently using and selling is BEE LUSCIOUS COSMETICS.

For your Pores use the Skin Vitality Mineral Mist

    Retexturizing Primer

    Liquid Powder Mineral Foundation

    Mineral foundation pressed powder

for a beautiful glow any of the powders from silk radiance to color tides or safari bronzers.

Now It is initially more money than perhaps you want to spend but it is much cheaper in the long run because all of the products contain such incredibly high quality products they last you twice to three times longer than the cheap brands. Also hun, cheap and budget will not help the current mess you have, you will have to maybe cut corners somewhere else and buy the best quality for your face this will help your self esteem etc... good luck but look into it you will be very happy you did !
I think tat u need to seek advice from the professional beautician if u wanted to solve ur problem asap. They may help u improve in short time. At the same time,I think tat u better start to take good care of your skin now since u have many problems for your face. Most importantly is sleep well n drink 8 glasses of water in a day.

There are many causes of dark circles, from age, heredity, allergies, cold or sinus infection, bone structure and glasses which are not so commonly known.

If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:

Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water %26amp; stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath %26amp; let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off. Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K %26amp; Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

To hide dark circles, you can use YSL concealer or salmon concealer..
