Makeup for oily skin?

my friend wants something by neutrogena, covergirl, maybellen...just something easy to find. SHE HAS REALLLLY OILY SKIN. and what should the makeup say?? should it say oil free on it?

should she get moisturizer, foundation andd powder all oil free?

(i had no idea what to tell her so thankss!)Makeup for oily skin?
Try Maybelline's Pure.Makeup line! I have pretty oily skin, but their line of concealer, foundation, and powder all work good to keep my skin looking matte (not shiny). These are all oil-free and inexpensive!

As far as moisturizer, I think she should try Clean %26amp; Clear Morning Burst Shine Control moisturizer. It's pretty good!Makeup for oily skin?
make sure to look for products that are oil-free, non-acnegenic, and non-comedogenic. these are the foundation formulas i have tried and liked and lasted on my oily skin even through the hot florida summers...

mark powder buff foundation $8

avon perfect wear extralasting $10

revlon colorstay $12

clinique superfit $20

merle norman lasting $26

clarins truly matte $35

they all have pretty extensive color ranges, and can be found all over the US. the first is a powder, and the rest are liquids. you can always ';set'; a liquid foundation with powder, as well. also, make sure to blot away excess oil with oil-absorbing sheets like clean %26amp; clear $5.

she also needs to be on a quality skin care regimen that is structured to fit oily skin. this means she needs a cleanser, toner, moisturizer, and a mask and/or scrub to use once or twice a week. if she must buy drugstore makeup, i suggest rimmel cool matte, or covergirl clean makeup.
Yes, everything should say oil-free. She should also look for the words mattifying in the description if she is very oily. She should try something like this from neutrogena http://www.neutrogena.com/cosmeticsdetai鈥?/a> and the matching powder. And this is a great moisturizer http://www.neutrogena.com/productsdetail鈥?/a> and a great cleanser: http://www.neutrogena.com/productsdetail鈥?/a>
I have oilly skin, I've done school to become a make up artist DO NOT use foundation that is the kind that is wet (it gets into your pores) use the power...get a color wheel because you can hide zits and redness from a drug store! go with your naturel color dont use a darker color!
I prefer cover girl oil free compact (it's in a blue compact case) It not only absorbs oil, but it doesn't clog pores. It also doesn't turn all cakey like some powders do.
my skin is the oilyest..just dip ur mackup brush in water....

try that!!!
First off, yes, all her products should say oil free and non-comodegenic (including moisturizer, etc).

For foundation she should try a long last formula that is formulated for oily skin. Try Revlon Colorstay Oily/Combination, or Maybelline Superstay Silky, or Almay TLC. (Stay away from cream to powder and mousse formulas. Even though these have an initial ';drying'; effect, they tend to be thicker, and can make face look dirty when it gets shiny. ) Apply foundatiion to clean but not too dry face (use a light moisturizer like Biore oil control moisturizer to prime skin for foundation). If you want, you can use primer to control oil, but you can usually only find these in dept stores. Sunscreen works too, but it has to be a certain type. The only one I know in drugstores is Neutrogena dry touch sunblock. Set foundation with a mattifying pressed powder with shine control (try Maybelline shine free).

As for the rest of the face, stick to powder formulas, cream formulas will just smear. For blush, any powder formula will do. However, I find slightly more expensive brands (ie Revlon, Loreal) tend to last longer and don't get as dirty looking.

For eyes: Revlon colorstay is a must! Prime lids with Revlon Colorstay concealer or Loreal Decrease shadow base. For shadow, use Revlon colorstay shadows (the quads have lots of cool colors). You can use any powder shadows but don't buy the cheapest ones, they don't last. You can also use Loreal HIP shadow sticks (though only one light brown one is good for daytime). For the nightime, try Loreal HIP shadow sticks in lots of cool colors. For liner, the colorstay automatic liners are the ONLY ones I've tried that don't smear or melt by noon. Finish with waterproof or smudgeproof mascara. I like Loreal Voluminous.

All the products above are great, but if your skin is really oily (like mine) it doesn't solve the whole problem. Blotting papers are your best friend (try clean %26amp; clear oil absorbing sheets). Use them to blot excess oil from face without removing makeup. Then reapply powder as necessary. FYI, applying powder to a very oily face just makes face look dirty.

HOPE THIS HELPS!

Edit: I have read some other suggestions and agree. Maybelline Pure Makeup works good too, as well as mineral formulas. Though I would stick to liquid mineral formulas to avoid a cakey look later in the day. Rimmel Lasting Finish is another option.
Bare Minerals by covergirl.

It works GREAT. It's pretty pricey but you can just get the foundation for about $13.

The bottles are small but last a really long time!

Good luck.
k i hav oily/combo skin and first off YES tell her to get an oil free moisturizer, foundation and powder. so her pores dont become clogged. i use Maybelline Mineral Power Perfecting Liquid foundation. i have decently good skin tho so if she has more than a few flaws then she should get somethin else considering the foundation is a cross between a really good tinted moisturizer and a light-medium coverage foundation. of course since she has such oily skin she should buy a powder. covergirl TRUblend pressed powder is a good one to keep away shine and blend into ur skin bt maybellines Stay Matte pressed powder is realllly good for taking away oily shine. i use neutrogena oil free moisture for combination skin (i believe thers one for oily skin too) and it is my absolute favorite moisturizer. leaves ur skin soft, smooth, radiant , shine free, and healthy looking. hope this helped.

good luck!
