I always read in magazines that if you have fair complexion, you should wear shades with a base of pink... like when you blush. The first problem in that I don't blush, so I don't really know. I'm mostly polish, german, and austrian/hungarian, but I don't know my father's heritage because he was adopted. In fact, all we really know is that he has some Italian descent. I always say that my skin looks slightly yellow, not pink. I have light brown, slightly curly hair. My question is what kind of blush/foundation should I use?Makeup help? Skin tone?
If you have slightly yellow skin don't wear nude or light pink, those are for women with very fair skin. I would try a deeper pink (darker) or a burgundy red because this complements yellow or olive complexion. Burgundy is perfect because it is a combination of pink and red, which is ideal. If you want to highlight your cheekbones you can also try a liquid blush in a light orange for a sunkist summer glow. This gives your skin a bright effect and makes your skin glow and seem more alive.
Because you don't have a deep olive complexion stay away from dark red or plum (very dark shades) of blush because this will be to harsh for your complexion.Makeup help? Skin tone?
okay you are going to want to go with a blush called 30 tweed rose. It's a channel blush, and it will compliment your light brown eyes. since you have more of a creamy complexion, the light pink, light brown, and faint gold speckles in the blush will create a beautiful mixture on your skin. plus, it lasts a fairly long time for blush. it will not rub off as easily as other blushes do, so you don't have to apply it say three times a day.
hope that helps!!
I would get Lo`real Paris concealer. Then there bare naturale mineral powder foundation. Then the superblendable powder. They have three sections of makeup. I mean like one for fair/pale people. Then medium skin tones and then dark skintones. Trust me you will find what your looking for. Just because you tell me what ethnicity you are means I will be able to suggest a color for you.
All you need to do is put a thick layer of mayonnaise evenly on your face for three nights, each on for 6 minutes. Rinse in cold water in circular motions. The mayonnaise extracts pigmentation, causing your face to look more natural. Exfoliate with mixture of rock salt, cinnamon and peanut oil so that the mayonnaise doesn't cause break-outs, they cancel each other out.
Not all pale people have a pink undertone, many have yellow, you can use ';earth'; shades.
You could find one with a more yellow base. Try foundations on at your local pharmacy to see which one suits you best. There are loads of different types! You'll find one for you.
true blend shade #2.. its really good stuff.
i think pink looks goooooood
A foundation that matches your skin tone would be good, if you go to anywhere with makeup counters they should be able to help, and if you pinch your cheeks really hard over and over until a mark is left, its the same as blushing, try to match that colour
Foundation is subjective, because it depends more on what kind of skin you have - normal, oily, dry or combination (oily and dry).
If you have normal skin, liquid or powder foundation is fine - liquid gives you better coverage, but powder is lighter on your skin, so it doesn't feel like a ';mask.';
Oily skin, go with powder foundation - it will absorb the oil better. Dry skin, go with liquid foundation, it will help to moisturize. Combination, try using liquid and then powdering over top.
As for shades, I recommend trying TRUblend by Cover Girl, which has a special shading system. When you go to the store, they have a chart with several different shades. You stick your finger underneath the transparent sheet and when the shade blends with your finger, that's your shade. After that, you buy the blush that has the same number.

After you find the shade of foundation, your concealer should be one shade lighter. The blush should be lighter pink since you are fair, but it's difficult to advise over the internet. :)
Look around in the store, ask for help, or try TRUblend.
