i have this thing called keritosis pilaris where i have these little red bumpy things on my face and other parts of my body
and i want to know what i could use to even out my skin tone? i have pretty fair skin and its dry too so what is a good kind of make up to use and where could i get itGood makeup for skin?
minerals! try almay!Good makeup for skin?
Are you using a moisturizer with AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) in it? I also have that on the back of my arms and AHA or Glycolic Acid really keeps it in check.
Mineral makeup, although sometimes good for sensitive skin, it is not great for dry skin. I would suggest a fuller coverage liquid or cream based foundation ... it will go on much more evenly over your already dry skin. If you want to go to a department store, I would recommend Clinique or CoverFX. Cover FX is available at Sephora and Nordstroms.
If you want to go drugstore, I imagine Almay would be the best bet. Look for a moisturizing foundation ... nothing that says matte in the name. Good luck!
Try Bareminerals. It improves your skin, and it will not cause breakouts.
It blends well, and is worth the money.
You can get it at Sephora or Ulta.
1. Covergirl Clean Makeup (drugstores)
2. Physicians Formula Makeup (drugstores)
3. Bareminerals (Sephora)
4. Dermacia (?)
5. Reviva foundation - - -
*I like Reviva the best! You can purchase it at http://www.webvitamins.com/
As a professional makeup artist I highly recommend bee luscious cosmetics, you need the hydrating cream concentrate along with the papaya enzyme skincare line and the liquid powder mineral foundation. These products will totally solve your problems. I have many clients that have had great success with this product line.
alot of people swear by bare minerals. it is suppose to really even out skin tones and look great on everyone
i tried mineral make-up before and i always find them too drying. Clinique's SuperFit liquid foundation is really good for dry skin, you might wanna give those a try. The coverage is decent, and they shouldn't break you out or anything since they are oil free.
